I wanted a wedding photographer whose images would tell the story of our wedding day, not just simply document it. Randolph delivered beautifully the images he took are a stunning and endearing step-by-step reminder of the entire event.

 

Most importantly, I trusted Randolph immensely. With all the stress of a wedding, it was nice to not have to worry if the pictures would turn out the way we wanted them to. Needless to say, he didn't let us down, in fact the final project even exceeded our greatest expectations.

My husband and I got married after living together and dating for, oh, 12 years. So you'd think that our wedding photos would be in a box somewhere, along with that porcelain maiden and handcrafted candlestick holder we received as gifts. Not so. Randolph's photos were so beautiful and so "us", weíve framed them and have them hanging prominently in our kitchen. They're the first things you see when you walk into our home. He did do a few of the standard post-ceremony shots, but the ones we love the most were the candid reportage pictures. Its one of the many perks of hiring a photographer who has newspaper experience and is used to shooting without great light, or time to set up the perfect picture.

 

And he was a great sport. He schlepped all his gear out to a remote camp in northern Ontario for the wedding and spent two nights sleeping in a creaky cabin, so he'd be there to photograph every moment. We totally recommend him.
